Disassembly is the first act of honesty: separating every part until the wear confesses what the owner never knew. There is no "feel": there is torque. There is no "good enough": there is measured tolerance. A poorly adjusted bearing doesn't warn you and doesn't hurt —it just destroys, silently, kilometer after kilometer.

These are the case files: each one a closed case. The symptom, the real cause, the procedure. Diagnosis by elimination, not intuition; so your bicycle stops being wasted engineering.
